Buying a whole, half,
or quarter beef.
We’ll be honest — the process is unfamiliar the first time, but it’s simpler than it sounds. Five steps, start to finish.
Pick Your Share
Decide which share fits your household, your freezer, and your budget. Quarter, half, or whole — we have a comparison page that lays it all out, and we’re happy to talk it through if you’re torn.
Place Your Deposit
A deposit reserves your share for this season’s harvest. Pay via PayPal at checkout, or call us if you’d rather pay by cash, check, card, or Venmo.
Choose Your Cuts
A few weeks before harvest, we’ll send you our Cut Sheet Guide — a plain-English walkthrough of every choice you’ll make. You’ll work directly with our USDA-inspected processor on the final sheet. They’re great with first-timers.
We Process and Package
Once your animal is harvested, it’s custom cut and packaged to your specifications at the USDA-inspected facility. Beef is vacuum-sealed and frozen so it’s ready for the freezer the day you take it home.
Pick Up Your Freezer Beef
When your beef is ready, we’ll confirm the pickup window and remind you of the final balance. Pay it, and you’ll pick up at Mary’s Valley Meat Processing in Steelville, MO — or get free local delivery within 25 mi of Sullivan.
